Profile
The non-profit training association BBQ (Beruf Bildung Qualifikation –Career, Training, Qualification) has a strong de-centrally organised network all over Baden-Württemberg with over 400 employees in 47 subsidiaries.
Furthermore, as a training association, BBQ employs 1.137 apprentices who are trained in a network of partner companies. BBQ supports school pupils and maintains networks between pupils and the economy. BBQ gives young people specific help in the start of their professional careers through placements, courses and the acquisition of work places. In 2009 alone 5.962 young people were qualified. Professional training, qualification and retraining allow jobseekers and employees to realign their career or re-enter professional life. In 2009, 895 jobseekers took part in qualification offers. For companies of all sectors in Baden- Württemberg, BBQ offers individual personnel solutions from one source. In 2009, 303 employees and companies were supported with personnel solutions.
The development and training programs are supported by the European Union (EU), the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Agency for Labour – BA) the state of Baden-Württemberg and the employer association Südwestmetall.
