Infant education
With offers orientated to needs for infant education we encourage children at the transition between day nurseries and primary schools. At the start of 2009 the employer association Südwestmetall and the “Haus der kleinen Forscher (House of small researchers)” foundation agreed to cooperate in order to establish the infant technology program in Baden-Württemberg.
A practical example: TECHNOlino
Through the establishment of research corners at day nurseries, TECHNOlino encourages playful interaction with science and technology. The contents are combined with linguistic, creative and exercise education as well as ethical and musical education.
- Support in the implementation of the orientation plan
- Education partnerships and joint projects with companies
- Setting up of research corners
- Further education of specialist personnel for the implementation of science and technology
- Support in gaining the rating “Technology-friendly kindergarten"
- Consultation in the planning and implementation of science projects at kindergartens (TECHNOlino handbook - Experiments at kindergartens)
240 kindergartens take part in TECHNOlino.
